IMPORTANT UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS: This version of SongScreen uses a database format that is incompatible with versions of SongScreen older than version 1.4. If you are upgrading from SongScreen version 1.4.x and have already followed these instructions, you do not need to do them again. To transfer your database please follow the steps below.

1. Launch your current version of SongScreen and click "Database Settings"
2. Click "Backup Database" and save the backup. You will not need to keep this file once the transfer is complete.
3. Quit SongScreen
4. Launch SongScreen 1.4 and click "Database Settings"
5. Click "Restore Database" and choose the file you just saved in step 2. It will ask you where to save your new database. The documents folder is a good choice.
6. Run SongScreen and enjoy.

Note: If after upgrading you do not see words on the screen. Choose "Preferences" from the "SongScreen Liquid" menu (or hit Apple-Comma) an click on "Displays". Then click on "Adjust Screen Settings" and choose "Restore Defaults" in the settings window.

Troubleshooting

If you have upgraded to Tiger (10.4) and are using a USB key you may need to update the driver for your USB key. Click here to download the driver update. Once it is downloaded run the "AKSUSB Install.pkg" and then reboot.
